New Zealand is surrounded by sea so our climate doesn’t get uncomfortably hot or unbearably cold. We have mild temperatures, moderately high rainfall and more than 2000 hours of sunshine.

    The West Coast of the South Island is the wettest area of New Zealand, whereas the area to the east of the mountains, just over 100km away, is the driest.
