North Shore City Council is one of eight local authorities in the Auckland region, based on its northern shores. The city, with its stunning environment and coastal charm, is New Zealand’s fourth largest by population and the continuing expansion is carefully managed with prime consideration given to the protection of its natural beauty and clean environment.
The council prides itself on being progressive and innovative, managing many infrastructure projects while providing excellent services and facilities for a mainly urban community within an area of 13,000ha, containing around 210,000 residents.
