IT – This is a very strong sector in Wellington. Many opportunities exist across the sector from senior managers / project managers to developers, architects, engineers etc.

Government – Wellington is the centre of government and the location of all major government departments. Many opportunities exist including analysts (business, policy, quantitative/statistical), corporate planners & sustainability professionals.

Local government – Also many opportunities in local government and these include urban designers & planners, engineers, building consents officers and IT.

Health – There are three DHBs (District Health Boards) in the region, all requiring health professionals – medical, dental therapy, nursing and all allied health categories.

Business – Senior managers, advisers, accountants, auditors, analysts and HR specialists are just some of the available roles.
