Who We Are

District Health Boards (DHB’s) in New Zealand are responsible for providing and funding the provision of health and disability services in their district.

DHB’s main objectives are set by the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000. These are to improve, promote and protect the health of our communities. For further information about DHB’s go to the Ministry of Health website.

The Regional Mental Health and Addictions Network also helps to provide and co-ordinate career opportunities in a large range of Non Government Organisations.

We would love to talk with you about career opportunities at the DHB’s in the zest4life group if you are:

  • An Allied Health professional. Especially Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists, Radiographers and Speech Language Therapists

  • A Nurse from all speciality areas, including but not limited to nursing experience in Rehabilitation, Medical and Surgical, Emergency, ICU/HDU/CCU, Theatre and Recovery, Neurosurgery, Educators and CNL’s

  • A Midwife

  • A Mental Health Professional including Community and Inpatient Mental Health Nurses, Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologists, Dual Diagnosis Clinicians, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists
