What we do

  • prevent injury through nationwide social marketing campaigns and targeted injury prevention programmes
  • buy health and disability support services to treat, care for and rehabilitate injured people
  • determine whether claims for injury are covered by ACC
  • provide entitlements, including financial compensation, to those eligible for assistance
  • collect levies (these are like premiums) to pay for the services we provide
