The strong links with the community and the local industry have culminated in the establishment of the Settlement Support project.

Venture Southland is a joint initiative between four key parties - Invercargill City Council, Southland District Council, Gore District Council and the Community Trust of Southland.
Venture Southland is based in the region's capital Invercargill and has a staff of 30 full-time employees.
