In November 2006 MWH announced a three-year commitment to the Clinton Global Initiative to engage and influence clients, reduce our impacts, and leave a lasting legacy in our communities that directly addresses energy and climate change.

- NZ Engineering Excellence Award for the first major renewable energy project to be built in Fiji for over 25 years
- An Energywise Award for MWH’s innovative heating and ventilation system for Dunedin Airport
