Opening a Bank Account
Even before you arrive in New Zealand, you can apply to open a Westpac account, which will be waiting for you when you arrive.
Just contact us and we will send you an application form and step-by-step guide to opening an account. If you prefer to, you can download an application form and checklist from the 'Moving to New Zealand' section of our website.
You will be able to make two deposits prior to your arrival and have full access to the account once you have arrived in New Zealand.
