How long are the medical and police assessments valid for?

All Police Certificates must be less than six months old, and all Medical and Chest X Ray Certificates must be less than three months old at the time an application is made. Medicals must be carried out by a panel doctor who is approved by Immigration New Zealand.

Note: Gathering documents such as police certificates and medical certificates (if required) before you submit your application to Immigration New Zealand can be time-consuming , so it is worthwhile factoring in some time for this when you’re planning your move to New Zealand.
