A technical qualification in mechanical engineering at NZCE/HNC or BE level.
The person we seek will have 5+ years experience in detailed design and commissioning of fluid handling systems in the chemical or related manufacturing industries. This should include experience of piping; pipe supports; piping stress analysis; pumps; valves; storage tanks; pressure vessels; pressure/vacuum relief systems.
Additional experience in construction supervision and contract management would be desirable but not essential.
An opportunity exists for an experienced mechanical engineer with skills in the design of industrial mechanical systems to join our Industrial Group, based in our fast growing Tauranga office.
Good verbal and written communications skills are essential, and you will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and inter office team, scope will be given to bringing in additional work through the development of new client relationships.
