RF Engineering is one of the key strategic technologies within our client . We are expanding our facility and are seeking an RF Design Engineer to help design and develop high performance RF circuits for our wireless radio solutions.
In this position you will be responsible for the specification, simulation and design of RF/microwave circuits and subsystems. This includes low noise amplifiers (LNAs), power amplifiers with low distortion and high efficiency as well as low phase noise synthesizers.
Your responsibility will extend to undertaking design reviews, supervising board layout, completing design acceptance testing of the designs and making sure there is a smooth transition from development to manufacturing.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
BE in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 2 years experience of detailed RF circuit analysis, simulation, design and troubleshooting
Demonstrate an understanding of digital modulations and how these effect the requirements of RF circuits and systems.
Familiar with RF test and measurement equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators and power meters.
Experience with Agilent’s simulation tool ADS would be advantageous.
