We have an opportunity for an experienced Designer to join the Water Group in our Auckland CBD office. The person will work within a close-knit team of design and drafting consultants, providing design on a range of water and stormwater projects.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Designer to join the Water Group in our Auckland CBD office. While you will be based in a close-knit team of project managers, design engineers and drafting consultants, providing design on a range of water, wastewater and stormwater projects, you’ll also have opportunity to involve yourself in national and on occasion internationally focused projects, which will broaden and further develop your skill base.
Ideally you’ll be a highly skilled BE (Civil) or similar, with 7-15yrs from a consulting or local authority environment. You’ll be highly competent in water engineering and systems design, project management and contract administration. General civil design and constructionj management will be a key strength.
Seen as a role model to less experienced staff you’ll be encouraged to mentor younger members in your team, but above all we are looking for a team player with a high quality of output and the ability to develop repeat business. Excellent communication skills, oral and written, will be a prerequisite.
