Senior Infrastructure Strategy Consultant - Water

Location: Auckland, Manakau City

This is a senior lead role within the Infrastructure Strategy group in developing innovative best for asset solutions for our existing and new clients across the local government and private sectors primarily focusing on the Australia and NZ market.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Strategy consultant to work in our Manukau office.

This is a senior role undertaking a lead role within the Infrastructure Strategy group in developing innovative best for asset solutions for our existing and new clients across the local government and private sectors primarily focusing on the Australia and New Zealand market but with the opportunity to provide assistance into GHDs global markets
Primarily the functions of this role are to review and learn the business of GHD to identify where GIS can add value, and consolidate and build on this information. We are looking for a proactive approach in leading operations in this technical area, and identifying which services NZ wide clients can provide to off shore GHD offices.

Parts of your role will be to:
Lead and undertake whole of business GAP analysis to strengthen client business planning including; identification of short, medium and long-term needs, communication planning, people management, development of policy and leading and monitoring of improvements programmes.
Identify and develop new opportunities in process re-engineering of business practices in conjunction with other members of the team
Demonstrate strong development and implementation of strategic planning including the integration with Asset Management Planning, linking levels of service, sustainable management, risk, growth, and life cycle management to financial forecasts.
This involves multidisciplinary AM projects primarily across transportation, water, wastewater, stormwater, buildings, parks and reserves, and electricity in both the private and public sectors.
Ideally you will have:
A relevant tertiary eduction, including some management or business experience
7-10 years industry experience or in consulting
Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent verbal and written abilities, and proven experience in presenting to a wide range of audiences is highly desirable.
