We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior water engineer, based in our Orewa Office. This role involves management and the growth of an existing team, and a focus on developing our already very established client base throughout NZ.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior water engineer, based in our Orewa Office.
This role involves management and the growth of an existing team, and a focus on developing our already very established client base throughout New Zealand. You will utilise your project management experience covering a wide range of treatment technologies. Therefore your ability to contribute to technical papers and forums will also be expected.
Your tasks will include:
Management and investigation, design and implementation of a range of projects involving water supply, wastewater, stormwater, environmental, asset management and civil engineering;.
Preparation of proposals and bids for projects;
Managing liaison with clients and contractors, service authorities etc.
Managing and assisting with the preparation of contract documentation and tendering of physical works;
Providing guidance to more junior design engineers on projects.
You will have already proven yourself through your project management experiences with water treatment process designs and implementations, and be keen to fully utilise your technical and leadership abilities.
The successful candidate will be qualified with a BE (Civil), or a postgraduate qualification, along with a minimum of 10 years experience. Whilst it would be advantageous if you have knowledge of New Zealand Transport and Land Authority projects, experience and knowledge of similar government body authority regulations and standards will be considered.
