Beca is looking for a charismatic leader with an enviable track record within the water industry to step into the niche opportunity we have available for you in our Wellington office.
Our National Water and Environmental Team has gone from strength to strength in their ability to deliver substantial projects for our clients - and as a result we are now a major player in the water industry. With established teams in the major regions of NZ, we have a strong portfolio of current projects as well as some excellent options on the horizon.
Our Wellington team is now at a point where they are ready to be lead by someone with a strong technical background in the water industry, and a proven track record in a management level role. This is part of our strategy to focus more intensely on growth aspects within the Wellington region.
In Wellington we have attracted talented engineers to work in our dynamic organisation and this fast growth has created a niche opportunity for a strategic level leader to take hold of the helm and steer the team towards even greater things.
* You will provide leadership & guidance on projects from bid phase through to completion.
* Your technical grounding, previous work experience in the water sector and relevant tertiary qualifications will provide you with the leverage you will need to work closely with existing clients and to develop strong and lasting relationships with prospective clients.
* To do this successfully, you will have a keen commercial orientation and top notch communication skills.
Our team has successfully delivered on iconic large projects like the $60m Hutt Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant and water transport design for the $35m Epsom to Spring Gully Recycled Water Project in Australia, but we have also worked on smaller projects like ongoing support to Marlborough District Council with their water supply network and treatment facilities and numerous water transportation projects in the Pacific region.
At a national level, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with like minded individuals and technical gurus - all of whom will provide you with a network of support which will be available to you at all times.
You will also have the full support from the Beca organisation behind you. As a senior contributor within our business, there will be a very real prospect of ownership in the business at a later point.
