We require a Civil Engineer who will be providing professional expertise in the development of solutions for a wide range of civil and roading projects. Your prime responsibility will be to work as part of the design team to manage all technical aspects of design. In order to deliver long-term you will also be responsible for the allocation of resources and management of jobs utilising Beca's quality management procedures.
This position will suit people with a proven track record in undertaking and managing multi-disciplinary projects or related types of work with some job management skills. Your technical expertise will stand you in good stead to develop solid client relationships. Ideally you will have experience in a consulting engineering environment and be able to demonstrate a strong ability in design. Previous success in maintaining and developing long-term client relationships is highly advantageous. A background in roading and / or general civil engineering is essential. Knowledge of Transit NZ's procedures and an understanding of the Bay of Plenty area market are distinct advantages.
