Set in one of New Zealand’s most stunning regions this is an opportunity to get away from the normal day to day of the city and really start enjoying life. Based around the shores of Lake Taupo this national contractor is looking for a superstar to take over the role of Construction Manager recently vacated due to promotion. As leaders in their field they understand how vital it is to have the right people in certain positions and allowing them the opportunity to use their own experience and judgement to get the job done.
The role of Construction Manager encompasses all construction projects within the Taupo area. You will have full responsibility for tendering and financial management on a wide range of projects including marine, earthworks, roading and drainage and concrete structures. Ideally you will already have experience of these fields and be comfortable working with concrete and bitumous products. You will have a proven track record of management to a degree, either at a project or department level, and will have an understanding of gaining the best results from the people around you. Financial acumen is a must and a good head for business will enable this division to grow and excel in the future.
