Established civil contractor is looking for a Divisional Operation Manager to continue growth in Taranaki Region. Motivated candidates only need apply
As one of the main civil contractors in New Zealand there aren’t many locations in the North and South Island where you won’t see their vehicles in some capacity. They are established both in the field of project and contract work and have some of the best people in the industry working for them. Due to expansion of their business in the Taranaki Region there is now an available position for a Divisional Operations Manager.
Working alongside the Branch Manager on both the construction and maintenance sectors of the business; the aim is to develop growth throughout the region. A key position, your main focus will be working closely with clients, tendering for upcoming work, outcome management and customer relationship management. As an experienced manager you will have a good understanding of what makes a successful business and have a series of strategies to focus your team on the same goals.
Knowing the industry is the key to this role but having a NZCE or equivalent qualification would be desirable. A civil background is essential for the success of your application, but the skill set within that experience can be much broader. Whether your background is from just roading or you have covered a number of areas, either will work as it is you management knowledge that will prevail. This is a new role so the sooner the right candidate is found the better. An excellent salary and package will be offered to the right candidate in line with the degree of experience and knowledge you bring to the role.
