Rarely do roles of this level come along and so this is an opportunity that cannot be missed. Based in Auckland with one of New Zealand’s most successful civil contractors this role has come about due to an internal promotion. As the leader of the surfacing division throughout the region you will be responsible for a raft of projects covering a wide scope of disciplines including surfacing, asphalt manufacturing, emulsions, research & development, laboratory services and asset management.
This is not a stand alone position and you will be supported by, and report to the Regional Manager but at the same time show the enthusiasm and drive to take on the challenge of one of the companies most successful regions. Your background will be largely specific but not completely exclusive to surfacing and other connected industries. You will already hold a position of stature within the industry and be able to show experience of man management and good business acumen.
As a key role within the company this role will be heavily focussed on long term strategies including;
• Staff Development
• Increased Business Development
• Developing collaborative procurement capability
• Increase internal capability
