Auckland’s North Shore is one of the fastest growing parts of the region and subsequently there is a massive concentration of infrastructure work going on. As one of New Zealand’s premier civil contractors this company has had a huge part to play in this development and continues to play a major part in the future.
This role is key to the ongoing success of a major long term contract with a local regional body. As such the emphasis is on the contractor to provide exceptional service and continued levels of success. As part of the role the successful candidate will assist with the development of resurfacing programmes, work with preseal repair work, keep in line with contractual requirements and reporting schedules, review completed and ongoing work whilst building strong relationships with relevant clients.
There’s no hiding that this is a specialist position and as such the successful candidate will have a number of years relevant experience to their name. A relevant tertiary qualification such as a NZCE (complete or ongoing) would be desirable and a reasonable level of IT experience including RAMM, Microsoft project and other systems would be highly advantageous. As important is the right personality; and strength in time and people management, and clear communication skills are a must, backed up with a desire to be successful.
