Our client is a long established and respected manufacturer of turnkey Energy Systems in Australasia and the Pacific region. Due to continuing growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Hawkes Bay based design department.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be qualified with BE (Mechanical) or equivalent
Have a minimum of 5 years design experience
Be experienced in pressure vessel and thermodynamic design
Have an understanding of structural design (preferably)
Have a knowledge of electrical systems (preferably)
Have the ability to work on multiple projects
In this role you will be responsible for the design of boilers and burners, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping and other associated equipment and systems, to met the customers and legal requirements. As well as design, this will likely involve liaison with the manufacturing facility to ensure the product(s) meet specification, talking to the customer and the sales team to ensure that all requirements are met, and working with the Project Management team to ensure the deliver of the project on time, in budget and of the highest possible quality.
