A large international company involved in designing process plant and associated control systems, our client has more work than the current team can handle. Due to this growth and with some engineers heading off for their OE, we are now looking for I&E Design Engineers and I&C Design Engineers, to join this New Plymouth based consultancy.
If you enjoy being challenged and like to be busy, we can offer you a range of interesting projects in the Oil and Gas and other industry sectors.
To be successful, you will:
Be Tertiary qualified in Electrical Engineering, Automation or similar
Have proven design skills
Be a good communicator
Have good documentation skills and abilities
Have a knowledge of safety and risk requirements in HAZOPS areas
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for designing I&E systems from concepts to pre- commissioning
Be able to carry out detailed design
Be able to travel and spend time away from home
In brief: be the technical expert in your field.
This role will suit an engineer looking for a challenge and is looking to expand their career. You will be exposed to interesting and varied contracts, some of which will require local and, potentially, international travel for short periods of time.
