We’re looking for a person who knows more than just the terms associated with Reliability Engineering, we’re looking for the person who knows how to manage the team who implements them on a daily basis.
Our client is a large player in the energy industry, with over 1000 employees nationwide. This organisation has a RCM system in place and is now looking for a Pipeline Integrity Manager to join their Taranaki based team, and manage the team who will drive RCM to the next level. It’s a role that will offer a challenge and will utilise your expertise and people skills to the fullest
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring the integrity and safety of the pipeline assets of this organization
• Managing a team of specialist working towards the above goal
• Use RCM principles and software to ensure data is readily available
• Assist your team in ensuring the suitability of systems ands procedures
This role will require an experienced engineer and manager and to be successful you will:
• Be BE (Mech) qualified or similar
• Have significant management and engineering experience
• Have a knowledge of pipeline issues, and solutions
• Be experienced in the Petrochemical or oil & gas industry
• Be able to train and mentor a team of professionals
• Have an above average communications ability
This is a senior role, managing a diverse team of people, who are experts in their own rights. As such, you will be a diplomat, a father figure and the one to wave the big stick – when required, as well as the team leader who will deal with the upper management and board.
It’s a role combining your technical expertise in pipelines with people management abilities and will be a challenge on both counts.
This is a senior role, seen as pivotal in providing on going expertise to the company and as such, an attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant.
