Rail Engineers (Electrical/Mechanical)
Be involved in the exciting new developments within New Zealand rail - Design, Certify, Commission, Test and Maintain rolling stock.
With the upcoming introduction of new rolling stock into the New Zealand Rail Industry, opportunities are available for Mechanical/Electrical Engineers and Technicians.
Typical opportunities will include:
• Engineering Designers (Electrical and Mechanical)
• Project Managers
• Testing and Commissioning Engineers / Technicians
• Maintenance Engineers / Technicians
In particular we are seeking people to supervise design, manufacture and entry into service of the new rolling stock, plus overseeing major upgrades to the electric train maintenance depot and liaising with associated stakeholders on network upgrades.
Previous experience in design, commissioning, testing and maintenance of electric multiple units and management of rail vehicle procurement projects would be beneficial.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and proven rolling stock experience are required.
