Position: Construction, Quantity Surveyor

The ideal opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to become involved in major civil projects. Ideally you will already be a Intermediate QS looking for a bigger company in which to grow or you will be a Junior QS looking for a step up. Within such a large company you will get the support of a great team around you and the chance to work on larger more prestige contracts.
Based in Auckland you will be attached to the Major Projects team out of head office. In the role you will report to a Senior QS working on a $5 million dollar bridge project. The main breakdown of your position will include;
Assisting the Senior QS in managing the contractual and financial aspects of the project.
Maintain accurate and current documentation and reporting on the financial progress of all subcontractors and suppliers.
Be responsible for interim and final progress payments, measurements, record keeping and contract variations.
Applying a sound contractual understanding to subcontract and supply agreements and advising on any other contractual issues which may be as appropriate by the Senior QS
This role is immediately available, as the project start date is imminent. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary as part of a strong remuneration package.
