One of the largest multi-disciplinary consultancies in New Zealand requires a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join their Newmarket team. You’ll be working on a diverse range of challenging water and wastewater infrastructure projects whilst developing and delivering innovative solutions to this consultancy’s municipal and industrial business partners.

This consultancy has high professional standards, ethics, integrity and is committed to delivering commercially sustainable and cost effective solutions which are tailored to meet their clients ongoing business needs. They have offices throughout New Zealand as well as Australia and undertake projects locally, in Australia and the South Pacific. There clients include government agencies, donor aid organisations and corporate, industrial, private and institutional clients.

Projects range from treatment plants, to networks, to complete schemes and you’ll see these through from concept to commissioning and handover to the client. You’ll need to relate well with clients and have proven planning, design and project management abilities in the area of advanced water and wastewater treatment facilities.

To be considered for this role you will have strong technical skills in feasibility studies, permit applications, process design, plant hydraulics, plant design, process commissioning and the design of associated infrastructure works. You will have to hold a relevant tertiary qualification from a recognised university and relevant experience in the consulting and/or public sector.
