This is ideal opportunity for a motivated person with good people skills and a sound technical background in the assessment and mitigation of environmental effects associated with wide range of development projects.
The Beca Environmental Team operates at a national level and as such we can be found in all the major regional Beca offices. We work on a variety of projects, some for internal clients, but also for a number of external parties as well, which is a growing area for our business and something we are keen to develop further.
With this is mind, we are looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our Christchurch operations.
We are looking for someone with the appropriate qualifications and background, but more importantly, we are looking for someone with good experience (preferably in the area of water related engineering) and a suitable qualification combined with great inter-personal skills and ambition to progress to great things!
Our Christchurch team focuses quite heavily on the development of environmental management plans and monitoring for projects in the water and air quality sectors.
With this in mind, whilst we will tailored your position to reflect your level of experience and specific areas of specialisation, the sort of work you may be involved in could include some of the following:
* Management of stormwater run off issues
* Air quality/odour monitoring
* Water quality and water resources planning and monitoring
* Erosion and sediment control
