As part of a Professional Services Agreement which we have with a large asset owner - we have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our existing team. This is a new opportunity, which has grown out of the increasing number of work opportunities which this PSA has resulted in, along with the strong and collaborative working approach we have with this particular client.
You will work closely with the client in the role of 'trusted advisor' so effective, professional communication skills are essential. Your ability to understand the client's requirements and to deliver high quality projects within the water/wastewater arena on time and budget will see you progress quickly within Beca and share-holding may be a very real prospect for you a little further down the track.
As the successful applicant for this role, you will have the following attributes, skills and experience
* An appropriate tertiary qualification (civil/environmental/process engineering or similar)
* A good track record within the water industries, both water and wastewater
* At least 7 years of post grad experience - of which at least 3 must have been in the capacity of a project manager
* High levels of commercial acumen and the ability to secure on-going business
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* The ability to put together technical reports which you will be required to present/outline in monthly meetings
