We’re looking for a person who knows more than just the terms associated with Reliability Engineering. We’re looking for an engineer who knows how to use CMMS, who enjoys solving problems and looking at continuous improvements.
Our client is a large, multi-discipline, Engineering Consultancy working for clients in the Oil & Gas, Dairy, Steel, Power and Other Heavy Engineering Process Industries. With branches throughout New Zealand, this company has a well-earned reputation for service. With an ever-increasing workload, we are now looking at adding a Senior Reliability Engineer to their Auckland office Asset Management Group.
In this position, you will:
• Take ownership of equipment reliability
• Be involved in developing and implementing RCM systems and strategies
• Train other staff in the use of these systems, procedures and techniques
• Be experienced in using RCM and CMMS software
To be successful in this role, you will:
• Hold a tertiary in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Be experienced in developing, introducing and using RCM/ OEE systems and techniques
• Be experienced in the use of statistical software and RCM/ OEE reporting
• Have an working knowledge of CMMS and maintenance engineering
• Enjoy being part of and leading a team
• Have excellent communications and report writing skills
• Have an understanding of the H&S issues involved in a hazardous work environment
It’s a job where you will work with clients to identify their needs and come up with strategies that will improve the efficiency and to lower maintenance costs for their plant. It will require tact & diplomacy and, through your passion and commitment, the ability to show the client what you can provide, long term.
