Our client is a long established and respected manufacturer of turnkey Energy Systems in Australasia and the Pacific region. Manufacturing cogen power plants that utilise waste products, this company is unique in their approach. Due to continuing growth, we are now looking for an experienced Electrical Drafter to join their Hawkes Bay based design department.

To be successful, you will:
• Be tertiary qualified in Electrical Engineering, or Drafting
• Have proven Electrical Drafting skills
• Be a good communicator
• Have good documentation skills and abilities
• Have a knowledge of New Zealand regulations and other requirements
You will work on projects involving HV and LV power for boilers, generators and ancillary plant, so a broad knowledge of these areas will serve you well. You will produce 2D and 3D drawings and designs for the project teams and subcontractors involved in prefabrication and installation of plant and equipment and will work closely with Design Engineers, Project Managers and, on occasions, subcontractors.
This role will suit an Electrical Drafter looking for a challenge and looking to expand their career. You will be exposed to interesting and varied contracts, some of which will require local and, potentially, international travel for short periods of time.
