My client is a true multi-discipline engineering consultancy on the international stage that has a strong grip on the New Zealand market. Thus ensuring they are involved in some of the biggest and best projects around. With that being said and done, they now require an engineer to join the Water Resources team in their Auckland office.
With your Civil or Mechanical degree you will be put at the front end of 1 or 2 major projects or several smaller projects where you will be working as a key member of the Water Resources team.
The team is involved in a variety of projects, however below is a snap shot of the work the team is currently doing:
• Stormwater system design and investigation
• Design of sewage pipework and pumping stations
• Flood analysis
• Reticulation
Given the nature of consultancy work it is important you have an understanding of the wider implications of design, such as Roading, Structural and Environmental Engineering.
