We have the opportunity for you!
This is a newly created role - you can stamp your mark! Our client seeks your expertise as a Principal Planner to help deliver quality water services.
You will oversee all technical aspects of the asset management and planning projects being delivered by the Asset Information and Planning Team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop asset management and planning programmes across the three waters
* Oversee all technical matters of the projects being delivered by the Asset Information and Planning team
* Lead asset management capabilities
Amongst your strengths will be your ability to give concepts to a planning team, experience in project management, technical leadership and your extensive knowledge and experience within the water industry.
Other attributes sought include:
* Tertiary qualified in Engineering, Planning or a Commercial discipline
* Min 15 years technical experience
* IPENZ/CPEng or ability to get certified
* Experience working within local government and/or utility sectors
* Understanding of environmental issues and legislation
* Preparation of business operating plans and Asset Management Plans.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
