We are looking for a degree-qualified Civil Engineer with at least 10 years post-graduate experience, with a thorough understanding of NZ design codes, and who will have attained (or working towards) Chartered Professional Engineer registration.
You will have drive and commitment with the ability to demonstrate project management skills, experience in working in multi-disciplined teams, and the necessary team leadership skills to mentor graduate and intermediate engineers through to Chartered Professional registration.
Applicants must be conscientious, enthusiastic and be able to provide efficient and effective engineering solutions and designs, to manage the design and documentation process of projects, and to produce 'For Construction' documentation within defined time-frames. You will attend as required all phases of project development, from concept design to attendance of the construction phase of the projects to ensure completion meets design and client expectations.
The successful candidate will be able to work and communicate in a team environment with other project disciplines, both in an office and construction site environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to move into an active and well-regarded New Zealand practice, and to contribute at senior levels.
