This is a new role for a Business Analyst who has an in-depth knowledge of financial message software and the ability to project manage software development with client implementations.
The development team in Christchurch has a new role for a Business Analyst who has an in-depth knowledge of financial message software and the ability to project manage software development with client implementations. ETX is an application used by our corporate clients to connect to banks, retrieve data and initiate financial transactions.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Working with financial service providers and in-house domain experts gathering functional requirements
- Communicating functional design to the software development team group, development of functional specifications, designing acceptance tests and testing the pre-release product
- Creating release documentation and work with implementation teams for deployment
- Project planning – coordinating ETX development timelines with SunGard implementations
You will require:
- A number of years relevant experience and qualifications in finance or Information Technology
- Experience in creating and interpreting technical specification documents
- Experience in financial message formats/protocols (FedWire/ACH) and (SWIFT, Edifact, ETEBAC)
- BizTalk 2004/2006+
It would be an advantage if you have experience in the development of financial software as a business analyst or a project manager.
