Emergency Psychiatric Services are looking for a positive, energetic and enthusiastic mental health nurse to join their stable and supportive team on a 1FTE permanent basis.
Within this position you will be responsible for triaging and assessing patients who present with suspected mental illness or who are experiencing acute psychological distress. This includes both face to face and telephone assessments. You will be in constant liaison with internal and external providers.
This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the team at EPS, to be successful in this role you will ideally have acute ward or community mental health experience, be flexible, quick thinking, have exceptional communication skills, the ability to meet the demands of a busy workload whilst also being able to prioritise and be positive, energetic and enthusiastic!
