An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Estimator who has a passion for the Civil Construction Industry. The role will suit an ambitious and career minded individual who delivers quality projects and enjoys working in a dynamic organisation of experts where ideas are shared and listened to.
The company is currently looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to be based in Wellington. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for preparing cost estimates and technical proposals for tender submissions within the scope of appropriate drawings, specifications, quantities and cost data.
Key attributes sought:
* Tertiary qualification, BE Civil or similar
* Experience of the bid process within major projects.
* Solid experience within civil construction
* A high degree of computer literacy, particularly spreadsheets
* Ability to analyse and control tender documentation
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Your focus will predominantly be roading construction. We are looking for an individual to add value to an experienced management team with your estimating expertise across a range of integrated civil infrastructure projects.
You will be joining a dynamic team with an exciting forward workload.
