As a Systems Administrator - Web applications, you will provide a broad and varied range of support where your technical expertise will be utilised with the maintenance and management of our external facing web applications, servers and hosted systems.

You will have proven experience with Windows Server 2003/2008, IIS6/IIS7 and a strong background in monitoring, optimising and maintaining web servers.  You will also have an understanding of web technologies such as HTML, ASP.NET, Web services, HTTP, SSL, DNS along with experience in networking and securing web sites.

To be successful in this role you will be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and an eye for detail.  In particular you will be customer focused with previous experience working with hosting providers and cloud computing services.  A sound understanding of Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager or other management tools are preferred.

Ideally you have a minimum of 4 years experience as a System Administrator or 4+ years in a web application development role.  You will be familiar with the requirements of a highly regulated medical device manufacturer and work as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our web based applications are continually running reliably through your ability to utilise your availability/capacity management, incident/problem management, change/release management and backup and disaster recovery practices.
