You’ve been waiting for an opportunity to bring your experience down south to be part of a regional team working in one of the most scenic areas of this fine country…. and here it is!
Working as a Health Protection Officer based in our Invercargill office, your work will cover a variety of health protection programme areas including food, communicable disease, drinking water and environmental health issues.
You will have the experience and qualifications to be designated as a Health Protection Officer. You will bring to this role excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures. You have an investigative mind and are a practiced problem solver. You have good communications skills and the ability to create good working relationships.
You will hold a post graduate Diploma in Environmental Health Science or Degree in Health Science majoring in Environmental Health (as approved by the Ministry of Health). Preference will be given to someone who has Health Protection Officer Designation and/or the National Diploma in Drinking Water (Assessors Stream).
You must have a current full drivers licence to be considered for this role.
