An opportunity exists for a General Practitioner to work with a dedicated team of 12 doctors and multi disciplinary teams on the East Coast of New Zealand.
The position is to provide quality primary medical service to the local Maori communities.
PRIME on-call response is a major part of this position as well as sharing on-call with a Rural Health Nurse. The applicant will need to be PRIME trained or have suitable emergency skills.
This position is recognised by the Advanced Vocational Education programme of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
Experience living and working in a location known for is good climate and outdoor activities, i.e. fishing, tramping, golfing, walking and surfing.
