The University is seeking a proven leader in electronic engineering with a desire to lead the development and expansion of the engineering research programme and the electronics and computer systems engineering curriculum. The successful candidate will have an excellent research record, demonstrated high quality teaching, experience in curriculum development and ideally some industrial experience at a senior level.
The School of Engineering and Computer Science is developing new expertise around signal processing and wireless communication. Preference will be given to candidates with related research expertise, however all candidates able to teach and lead research in one or more of power electronics, digital electronics, analogue electronics, communications, signal processing or mechatronics, will be considered.
