The School of Languages and Cultures invites applications for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Chinese Studies. A PhD in Chinese Studies (or relevant discipline) and publications in peer-reviewed journals are required. The successful candidate will be a native-speaker or near native-speaker in Chinese.
The appointee will be involved in administering and teaching courses in Chinese language and culture at both undergraduate and graduate levels. A programme of research is an integral part of the role, as is a contribution to the administration of the school.
