This Registered Nurse role on Ward 9A provides an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills on a shift by shift basis, actively engage in quality initiatives, work alongside patients in a complex environment to meet the identified needs of clients in a multi disciplinary setting. With an emphasis on the delivery of safe client focused care in a secure setting where risk assessment and monitoring are an essential component. The role encompasses acute care of people who are transferred from the prison setting and/or the district court for the purposes of assessment for court reports. The continuing care and rehabilitation of patients with a special status and complex needs. Working closely with the Associate Charge Nurse Manager and the Clinical Nurse Specialist.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with a range of skills and experience who can work effectively with the team in a forensic environment to a high standard of practice
