The School of Educational Psychology and Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education wishes to appoint a lecturer/senior lecturer in early childhood education, preferably in the area of pedagogy. The appointee will be expected to develop a research programme related to the interests of the school, undertake supervision of research higher degree candidates, and provide research led teaching ensuring academic quality (including course coordination, lecturing, tutoring and assessment).
The appointee will have a doctoral qualification (or near to completion) in a relevant field, teaching experience and a track record of publication commensurate with the level of the position. The successful applicant will have a passion for education, especially effective pedagogies that result in success for children in early childhood education centres.
