The Massey University Veterinary Teaching Hospital provides first opinion and referral veterinary services to the public and is essential for the training of veterinarians within New Zealand. The directorship is the senior management role within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

This exciting position provides an opportunity for a person with outstanding leadership and management skills to take the Veterinary Teaching Hospital into its next phase of growth and development.

You will have a minimum of three years of management experience, ideally within the veterinary industry. While previous experience in an academic environment is desirable, it is not essential. You will be an outstanding communicator, have good human resource management skills. Financial literacy is essential. You will report to the Hospital’s Governance Committee and be responsible for driving the strategy of the Committee.
