The School of Health and Social Services undertakes teaching, research and professional service in the fields of Nursing, Midwifery, Rehabilitation, Health and Social Work.

The School has part-time ongoing positions available for Clinical Teaching Associates in the Hutt Valley, Wellington, and Palmerston North regions. These positions will provide professional supervision to Bachelor of Nursing students on clinical placement in a range of health provider settings, including Mental Health, Primary Health, residential care and Medical/Surgical nursing across the three years of the programme.

The appointee will be a Registered Nurse with a minimum equivalent of 3 years full-time clinical experience in their particular field of expertise, and have completed, or be working towards, a postgraduate nursing qualification. The appointee will provide clinical teaching, support and guidance for students in the undergraduate programme.
