Civil Design Engineer

This role will see you working with like minded designers as part of the company’s roading design team in the design of roading projects for Transit New Zealand and/or Territorial Local Authorities. As such you will be responsible for all the technical aspects of concept design, scheme assessments and detailed design relating to the projects you are involved with.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be familiar with appropriate design standards, including Transit's GDM guidelines and Austroads and will have a good level of experience with MX software or similar.
The role will involve you in a diverse range of infrastructure design works in particular road geometry designs in the areas of feasibility, preliminary and detailed design and tender/construction.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a technical qualification in civil engineering at certificate, diploma or degree level.
