Specialist in the servicing of niche markets throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Basin, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Geologist to join their growing Christchurch office.
The successful candidate will be B.E. Civil qualified with at least ten years experience (ideally in New Zealand) in the field of Engineering Geology. Your skills should include the following:
- Experience in Geotechnical Engineering: site investigation, slope stability analysis, foundation design, retaining walls, pilling
- Proven project management experience
- Geotechnical design and site assessment
- Ground investigation/interpretation
- Construction experience
- Management of client relationships
- Report writing
Along with the aforementioned skills and experience you will be able to provide technical expertise, manage project teams and have a proven business acumen that will enable you to develop work opportunities and grow the engineering geology and geotechnical team. Strong English communication abilities (written and oral) are a prerequisite for this role.
