The organisation
This South Island Hospital has a modern block of theatres that provide anaesthesia services to the region, along with a modern Intensive Care Unit. They are seeking an
Anaesthetist who is able to mentor and supervise Registrars in training, as well as develop their own career. With a Medical School nearby, research and support facilities are easily accessible.
As a Consultant you will be able to utilise your skills in one of eight main theatres, two-day surgery theatres and one obstetrics theatre. You will experience a range of patients that will allow you to build on your current knowledge and who at times will challenge you.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
· Fellowship with the ANZCA or equivalent
· Be eligible for registration with the NZ Medical Council
· Be committed to quality service delivery and development
· Ability to work effectively as a senior clinician within a multi-disciplinary team
· Be enthusiastic about mentoring junior staff
