Associate Clinical Nurse Manager Theatre 

Tthis position covers General Surgery, Vascular, Thoracic, Laparoscopic and Gynaecology. 

Permanent, part time 0.8 FTE

The Associate Clinical Nurse Manager will have the delegated authority to make all necessary decisions about the management of their area, in liaison with Theatre Manager.  They will also be responsible for the budgets for their areas in conjunction with the Theatre Manager. 

Aim of Position

  • To provide appropriate clinical support to nursing staff working within theatre
  • To provide appropriate direction to HCA's performing delegated patient care tasks, working
  • within the Theatre department.
  • Take responsibility for activities within Department.
  • Maintain a close liaison with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide accurate and well researched advice on Clinical issues to staff and patients.
