If you enjoy working as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team and have experience as a child and family therapist working with children, you shouldn’t let this opportunity pass you by.
The Otago District Health Board Child and Family Mental Health Service’s (CAFMHS) provide support and treatment for children (0-14 years) and their families experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues.
This position will see you managing a limited caseload, providing assessments, treatment and/or further referrals for children and their families.
As a practised child and family therapist you will come to us with relevant post graduate experience. You will have a sound knowledge of appropriate interventions, especially assessment in working alongside children who have moderate to severe mental health difficulties. You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in child and family therapy, with membership to an appropriate professional association.
